Our employees have many years of experience working with a variety of 3D surface modeling systems in both areas of computer aided design and computer aided manufacturing. We can meet your requirements in both CAD and CAM.
Sobot Tool has its own CAD CAM manufacturing system (Computer Aided Design/ Computer Aided Manufacturing). This system allows tool paths to be programmed in format which are usable by CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machine tools. This code is then post-processed and transferred to the CNC machine. The part can then be manufactured automatically.
The original design model or drawing can either be created on the shop's CAD system or imported from customer data in several different formats. For example, a 3-D solid model can be produced on Solid works or other platforms. The file can then be processed through the CAM software to create a program for the CNC machines to manufacture our customer's part. We utilize industry standard equipment and software to provide complete compatibility with our customers.
We can import your geometry in several formats. We can read DXF, IGES, STL, PAR, SAT, and DWG. Also can bring in parasolids from software such as Solid Works.
